We collect information in the following categories depending on your role and how you use the Platform:

2.1 Account & Identity Information

• Full name, email address, and phone number
• Password (stored in encrypted form — never in plain text)
• Account type and role (student, job seeker, recruiter, college, admin)
• TalentorX Identification Number (TIN) assigned at registration

2.2 Profile & Professional Information

• Students & Job Seekers: educational background, course, branch, graduation year, CGPA, skills, work experience, certifications, LinkedIn/GitHub/portfolio URLs, preferred job type and location, expected salary
• Recruiters: company name, designation, company description, industry, company size, website, social media links, hiring preferences
• Colleges: institution name, university affiliation, accreditation details, placement officer name and contact, address, and placement statistics

2.3 Uploaded Files

• Resumes and CVs uploaded by students and job seekers
• Company logos uploaded by recruiters
• Any other documents submitted through the Platform

2.4 Application & Activity Data

• Job applications submitted, including cover letters and application status history
• Interview schedules, dates, modes, and notes
• Placement records and offer details
• Campus activity requests and event participation
• Recruiter-college connection requests and approval status

2.5 Communication Data

• Messages exchanged between recruiters and colleges via the TalentorX Connect chat system
• Notifications sent and received within the Platform
• Enquiries submitted through public contact forms

2.6 Usage & Technical Data

• Activity logs (actions performed, timestamps, IP addresses)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited and features used within the Platform
• Session data and authentication tokens

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Platform Operations

• Creating and managing your account and profile
• Processing job applications and tracking their status through the ATS pipeline
• Facilitating recruiter-college connections and campus placement drives

• Generating aggregated, anonymised statistics about placement outcomes

3.5 Safety, Security & Compliance

• Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
• Maintaining audit logs for accountability and dispute resolution

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary to operate the Platform and provide our services. The following describes how data flows between parties:

4.1 Between Platform Users

• Students & Job Seekers → Recruiters: When you apply for a job, your profile, resume, and application details are shared with the recruiter who posted that job. Recruiters can only view profiles of candidates who have applied to their jobs or who have been explicitly assigned by a platform administrator.
• Students → Colleges: If you registered using a college invite code, your profile and application activity are visible to your affiliated college's placement officer. This enables the college to track placement outcomes for their students.
• Recruiters ↔ Colleges: When a recruiter and college establish a connection through TalentorX Connect (subject to admin approval), limited profile and contact information is shared between them to facilitate campus hiring.

4.2 Platform Administration

• Platform administrators have access to all user data for the purposes of moderation, support, dispute resolution, and compliance. All admin access is logged with a full audit trail.

4.3 Third-Party Service Providers

• We use trusted third-party services to operate the Platform, including email delivery services and analytics tools. These providers access only the data necessary to perform their specific function and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• We do not share your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

4.4 Legal Requirements

• We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

• Right to Access: You can view and download your profile data, application history, and uploaded files directly from your TalentorX dashboard at any time.

• Right to Restrict Processing: In certain circumstances, you may request that we limit how we use your data while a dispute or review is in progress.

7. Account & Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your TalentorX account and personal data at any time. To submit a deletion request:

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will:

• Deactivate your account and remove your personal profile data
• Delete or anonymise your uploaded files (resumes, documents) where technically feasible

Please note that data shared with other platform users (such as applications submitted to recruiters or placement records shared with colleges) may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form even after account deletion.

TalentorX uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform and improve your experience. We use the following types of cookies:

• Essential Cookies: Required for the Platform to function. These include session cookies that keep you logged in and security tokens that protect against cross-site request forgery. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the Platform.
